Shetland Pony riding gelding in BENTLEY PARK, Queensland for sale

Super quiet 15yr old Dapple Grey Gelding Pony for sale incuding 4 x rugs (for winter/show and summer, flymesh rug as well). Foaled 2001, Shetland x Welsh, wears size 4'3" rugs. We bought him 4 yrs ago for our then 4yr old son. Selling now as our son is too big for him and has lost interest. He is easy to float, trim his hooves, tie up, brush/wash (he loves the attention) and lifts his feet for you when you touch his shoulder. Has never bit, bucked or kicked with us. All vaccinations are up to date and he is microchipped. We would love our pony to go to a family with young children or to even be a paddock mate for other horses. He does have attitude with stallions and is the boss but has been excellent paddock mate with our mares and foals. He has had two cases of laminitis due to being over fed and placed in huge paddocks. He will be easily managed in smaller paddocks with minimal to no extra added feed depending on what grass is available to him. His previous owners took him to a Parelli clinic and many pony club events. Our son competed at Horse Sports twice and he was the perfect pony. We haven't placed a bit in his mouth only put halter on him and lead our son and other children around on his back. The price is very negotiable but the home must be caring and knowledgable.
